Apple and pear layers with crums

PEAR & APPLE LAYERS

Healthy enough for breakfast and indulgent enough for dessert! 

(vegan, gf)

INGREDIENTS

3 ripe pears, peeled & chopped

2 large Bramley cooking apples, peeled & chopped

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Plain Greek yoghurt (we used Oatly plant based)

Berry Chocolatey CRUM

Serves 4 for a generous dessert - 8 for a quick breakfast
 

METHOD

Put the apple, pear and cinnamon in a pan and cover.  Simmer for around 30 mins until soft.

Stir to break up the fruit and refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze in portions.

Arrange layers of fruit, yoghurt and Berry Chocolatey CRUM in wine glasses for an indulgent dessert, or top yoghurt with compote and a sprinkle of Berry Chocolatey CRUM for a quick breakfast or brunch.
