Sometimes simple really is best. These little new potatoes are a perfect example. And, full disclosure, I could eat seasoned warm potatoes every day for the rest of my life. They're definitely in my top 5 comfort food list.

Just four ingredients here – potatoes, good extra virgin olive oil, fresh parsley and Mediterranean Walnut CRUMS.

With notes of rosemary and garlic, these CRUMS are the perfect pairing for this dish, but all our other savoury flavours love potatoes and other root veg too. There’s something about hot, waxy new potatoes tossed in olive oil and finished with a generous scattering of CRUMS that just works. The potato is soft and comforting, the olive oil adds richness and the walnuts, herbs and Mediterranean flavours bring texture, savouriness and a subtle crunch texture.

And nutritionally, potatoes deserve a bit more love than they tend to get. They provide fibre, potassium, vitamin C and useful carbohydrates for energy. Keeping the skins on also means you get more of the potato’s fibre and nutrients.

This dish sums up why we created CRUMS – to take the simplest wholefood ingredients and turn them into something that feels a little bit special, without any faff. No elaborate sauce, no long list of ingredients, just good food with loads of flavour.
